As part of this mechanism, it will examine only grey websites and determine whether they are safe (green) or unsafe (red). Websites which already received a green or red donut will not be overturned by the machine learning algorithm to any other color.

As a community-driven platform, WOT’s algorithm will always prioritize user reviews and ratings and only then will consider blacklists and the new machine learning prediction. A website with sufficient reviews and confidence level will not be affected by the machine learning prediction.

Therefore, encouraging users to rate and review your website will always have the most genuine and considerable effect. If you encounter a website that was unjustifiably colored by our machine learning prediction, please report to us so we can look further into it.
