For a number of reasons, showing the number of ratings would be misleading.
Instead, every site rating comes with a Confidence Level. The Confidence Level considers not only the number of ratings but also the reliability of the users who provided those ratings.
Update - Since November 2019, The scorecard include number of Reviews, the old ratings without review will be calculated in the final score but don't count in the total reviews.
